This knife lasted 14 months. It cut well when it operated. The switch failed and when I tried to take it apart to replace I found that it was so poorly designed that you could not remove the switch with out breaking the glued in place cover.

This is a great electric knife. cuts right through joints and slices the rest with ease. I would definately buy this knife again

The Cuisinart electric knife appears well-made with metal drive parts. The knives are razor sharp and the cutting action is fast and smooth. Our Thanksgiving turkey was reduced to a pile of neat slices in no time.
